I Want This Genius DIY Hunting Van (& So Do You)
Here’s a guy who turned “one of these days” into “today, tomorrow, until I want to go home.”
Do you ever look around you at the four walls of your office and think, “One of these days, I’m going to bust out of here and just travel the country, adventuring and hunting”? Of course you do, we all do, but most of us then look at the prices of RVs and make a realistic, adult decision to keep saving up for that dream trip to the grocery store instead.
But not Black Duck Revival’s Jonathan Wilkins. No, this man has elected to create his dream tour vehicle–a reconditioned work van that’s self-contained and ready to take him on hunting adventures anywhere he wants to go. We do mean anywhere. Unlike an RV, the Black Duck Revival machine can go off-road (and can exceed 60 mph when it’s on the road).
Do you sense bitter envy dripping from every word? Perhaps. Would I love to traverse the country following the turkey seasons and chasing tornadoes in my off-hours? Maybe. Am I taking notes on how to transform a work van into a DIY hunting/camping powerhouse? Oh yes indeed. Check out this wonderful video courtesy of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) … and let the envy wash over you.
