Sharp! Bear & Son 15″ Freedom Fighting Bowie
From the early frontier days to current overseas conflicts, a strong fixed-blade knife has served as a last personal defense tool for many men and women. Bear & Son Cutlery honors the tradition of history’s greatest adventurers, scouts, lawmen, trappers, and warriors with the new 15-inch Freedom Fighting Bowie, a large, single-edged clip-point knife that features 8 inches of cutting edge.
The new 15-inch Freedom Fighting Bowie Knife features a cocobolo handle, for a classic fixed-blade knife with maximum cutting power for any task on the trail or around the homestead. In true fighting blade fashion, the Freedom Fighting Bowie has a notch on the choil for added control.
Each wooden grip is individually inspected for the best grain density, is hand-fitted to each knife, and is treated with a polished finish. The 15-inch Freedom Fighting Bowie also comes standard with a handstitched leather sheath and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
The hollow-ground blade is fashioned from D2 tool steel–which is known for its high carbon and chromium content, with an elevated hardness rating to ensure long-lasting edge retention, sharpness, and ability to handle tough jobs. A full tang provides essential strength and balance when swinging or thrusting, making for a great all-around utility knife. The curved brass guard protects the hands and compliments the rich, cocobolo wood grips. Made in the USA, this is a blade worthy of the “Bowie” name!
