You Asked, Ed Brown Delivered: KC9 VTX Pistol is 1911 Perfection
When Ed Brown came out with their EVO pistol series, the first thing we 1911 fans said was, “Gorgeous, I want one!” The second thing we 1911 fans said was, “Now give us an optics-ready version!” Isn’t it beautiful when gun designers give us what we want? Ed Brown Products agrees, and that’s why the EVO has EVOlved into the next generation: the KC9 VTX pistol, optimized for concealed carry. It’s a combination of the most-requested features all in one gun.
The KC9-VTX has all the features that you have come to love in the EVO series. The thinner slide features a 7-top custom slide cut, with special front and rear serrations for a tactile surface, that makes it perfectly balanced in the hands. A 6 MOA Vortex Venom red-dot sight for rapid, accurate target acquisition is mounted on top. The frame is dressed in Snakeskin treatment on the frontstrap and Bobtail, for just the right amount of grip. A recessed slide stop and flush barrel completes the package.
It’s the standard by which 1911s should be judged
Sales and Marketing Director John May said, “This new addition to the EVO Series continues to prove the Brown family’s commitment to offer our customers the best value and quality to be found in hand-crafted custom handguns. The KC9-VTX has it all, and will be the standard by which all others will be judged.
Like all other Ed Brown 1911’s, the KC9-VTX is hand-built from fully machined components, loaded with custom features, and backed by a written Lifetime Warranty. For more specification, or to order one of your own, just click here!
Don’t forget the mags!
But what about the magazines? Well, if you’re a 1911 fan, then chances are you have a drawer full of mags that you don’t quite trust anymore, but that you can’t bring yourself to throw away. Turn your “gun junk drawer” into fresh, new, lifetime-warrantied 1911 magazines with the Ed Brown Magazine Exchange Program! This exciting program gives 1911 fans the opportunity to try out the last 1911 magazine you’ll ever own—a $22-$30 value—by sending in the old, busted 1911 mags you got from “the other guy” plus $10-$15, depending on which Ed Brown 1911 magazine you chose.
The process is simple: Just click here to visit their exchange program page, and print out the exchange form. On it, you can choose between Ed Brown’s traditional stainless steel magazines ($10) and their Black Nitride version ($15). (Be sure to select one of several cool special offers available!)
