Krieghoff’s 2020 Galapagos Shotgun: If You Have to Ask…

Yes, I suppose that wood furniture looks rather nice.
If you have to ask, you can’t afford it. But a guy can dream…
Krieghoff just announced their Gun of the Year 2020: the K-80/S “Galapagos Islands” side-plated shotgun, and it has me in a very 1% kind of mood. This exquisite over/under was designed for people who appreciate the beauty and mystery of the Galapagos Islands, but cannot (yet) afford a Galapagos Island of their own. As exotic as the islands that inspired it, this exquisite K-80 features the vast wildlife which roam the untouched islands of Ecuador.
Krieghoff’s artist, Chantal Schaschl, used the expanded canvas of the K-80/S receiver to take a person of vast wealth on a journey around the Galapagos and encounter its unique inhabitants. Lizards of various sizes still sporting a prehistoric look, thousand-year-old Galapagos Tortoises, and winged creatures from penguins to the majestic Galapagos Hawk come to life in stunning detail.

But can I bring it on my yacht?
The base of the receiver shows the beauty of the Galapagos that can only be seen from under the clear water of the Pacific Ocean. Shown is a magnificent Spotted Eagle Ray with its distinct white spots, along with schools of Angel Fish that like to call the islands’ vast variety of coral home. A leatherback turtle can also be seen cruising along the coral. The trigger guard has a mirrored look and feel of an iguana’s back that can be seen and felt in great detail.
Dive into the tropical waters of the Galapagos and see a view similar to that shown on the receiver bottom. Prickly Pear Cacti with their beautiful flowers are just one of the native plants featured on the Krieghoff Gun of the Year 2020.
“Just mentioning the Galapagos Islands usually starts a conversation about seeing them in person. Traveling there is on everyone’s bucket list,” says Alex Diehl, Krieghoff International COO. “That was the inspiration behind the Krieghoff Gun of the Year 2020 – to give the owner the same feeling that comes from visiting this tropical paradise.”

This would look lovely on my castle wall.
The Krieghoff Gun of the Year 2020 is available exclusively through Pacific Sporting Arms East located in Walled Lake, MI. If you have to ask, you cannot afford it. Don’t feel bad; neither can I. PacificSportingArms.com
